BIO Antonino Milazzo:

Antonino Milazzo teaches a modern class based on his own dynamic dance language taking inspiration from his experience as a professional  dancer. His class starts with a warming-up focussing on freeing the muscles to create a  ree body yet focusing on working out technique. He guides the dancers through dance-phrases involving the use of space and create dynamic combinations where the aim is to challenge the dancers to work with their extremes but still with the awareness of a free and effortless movement quality  but yet in control.

BIO Maroula Iliopoulou:

Maroula Iliopoulou is a dance artist, originally from Greece. She recently completed her MA studies at London Contemporary Dance School. She is currently working on a solo performance for Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam choreographed by Amy Toner and as a guest teacher at PERA University in Cyprus. She has performed in choreographies of Rosemary Lee, Hannes Langolf, Simon Whitehead, Grace Nicol, Amy Toner, Ted Stoffer, Athanasia Kanellopoulou, Harry Koushos, Pil & Galia Kollektiv, Athens Video Dance Project, Off Festival in Brussels a creation by Lisi Estaras and Nicolas Vladyslav (Les Ballets C de la B) and with David Zambrano and 30 other international artists.

Contemporary Class

My approach on teaching contemporary dance is physical and playful, floor work based with improvisation elements. I am interested to encourage participants to explore their own physicality and presence, while making connections through partner and group tasks. At the end of the class we will learn a small choreography/dance phrase. In my classes, I share different experiences and exercises inspired and influenced by several dance artists that I have encountered and been inspired from. One of these artists is David Zambrano with whom I have studied for a long time when I lived in Brussels and I have also completed the one month intensive training of Flying Low and Passing Through techniques in 2016 in Spain.
